The dashboard
This homepage summarises your site's latest activities:
- information on necessary or completed updates
- verification of your licence to activate Minos
- quick access to your favourite CPTs (Articles, Events, Teams, FAQs and all pages)
The back office top bar
Once logged in, this black bar automatically appears on your web platform in both the frontend and backend. It indicates that you have an open session on your site.
This bar allows you to:
- switch between the backend and frontend with a single click
- see how many updates are available - depending on your profile
- see how many comments have been added - depending on your profile
- create content (articles, users, etc.) - depending on your profile
- access your theme settings
- edit your preferences
- access your profile
- log out
- search for items
🤗 Tip: Always open two tabs in your browser One for the backend and the other for the frontend. This allows you to check your changes by switching between tabs without having to go back to the top bar every time.
The menu or sidebar
Located on the left side of the screen, this black block lists all the menu and submenu items that allow you to manage your entire website, from the most visible elements (media and text, for example) to the most discreet (advanced technical settings).
Among other things, you will find the following for day-to-day management:
- WordPress native content modules (Pages and Articles)
- Minos-specific content modules (management of Teams, Events and FAQs)
- the media library
- general functions - user account management, site menu settings, theme settings, available tools, etc.
- any plugins and their specific settings
- technical framework and site theme settings. These settings are only accessible to administrators and Super Admins - More information on user roles here.
- Minotaure settings - Minos configuration (themes, colours, etc.)
