Team block
Teams are part of the ‘dynamic’ blocks, which means that they dynamically display content created elsewhere. You will not have to copy them multiple times on your site, just call them up when you see fit!
Creating a Team
To create a new Team (content), go to the left-hand menu of your website's Dashboard, click on ‘Team’ and then ‘Add an article’.
Your composition will unfold in this order:
- Start by giving it a title by clicking in this call-to-action field: ‘Enter title’. This ‘title’ could be, for example, the person's first and last names (it will only be used for internal purposes). It will also be included in the slug (= URL) of the page.
- Complete the following fields with the information you wish to provide about this person:
- Main information: their biography, anything you wish to write to introduce them.
- Description: this can be compared to an extract from an article. Shorter than the main information, this description will appear according to your choices set when configuring the Team block:
- In the Team block
- On the member's page, in similar members (box at the bottom)
- In the search (list of all members or global listing)
- Surname
- First name
- Telephone number
- Social networks
- On the right-hand side of the page, assign one or more roles to this person
- Add a featured image: this is the person's photo
- Publish!
Settings in Minotaure
To configure the visual appearance of your Teams, go to the left-hand menu of your website's Dashboard, in the ‘Minotaure’ tool. There you can choose the display options for your CPTs (colours, fonts, etc.).
→ Click on advanced blocks, then select
Teams. You will find a preview of your composition on the right-hand side of the screen, with the settings on the left (+ a cross to close each composition).
You will be able to style your Teams as a block, individually, and as an index:
A content “block” that can be placed anywhere on a page to display a list of team members.
A “Single” (or Page) is a view of one member of your team on a page.
A “listing” (or Index), i.e. a list of all your team members, with a set of filters at the top of the page (role, job, etc.) that allows you to modify the search display.

I need several blocks with different styles
Good news: you can add as many new compositions as you like.
There are two ways to do this: duplicate an existing composition and make a few minor changes (useful for quickly creating variations on a few details) or create a new composition for a new block style to have a completely different Team block that you can reuse as often as you like.
- Name your new composition and repeat the steps above one by one!
- You can reset each group of elements at any time: the group will revert to the default block settings (if you have saved in the meantime).
