TABLE OF CONTENTS
By "site identity", beyond its domain name, we mean its image and the few words that will accompany it wherever it is mentioned (in the tabs of a browser, the result of a search, etc.)
The logo
- go to your website dashboard
- in the left-hand menu, click on "Appearance" and then on "Customise"
- then click on "Site identity"
- here you can upload a logo, give your site a title (usually your name/brand), and give it a slogan (which will be displayed in the browser tab next to the title, among others)
The Site icon
The Site icon (= the bookmark icon), this is the little icon that symbolises your website in the browser tab and completes your visual identity. It is visible on the left side of the address bar and on the tabs of your browser: it is the little lgoo that immediately identifies your site among the others.
How do I display it for my site?
- go to your website dashboard
- in the left-hand menu, click on "Appearance" and then on "Customise"
- then click on "Site identity"
- in the "site icon" section, upload an image in the right format (generally a miniaturised version of your logo - note that this must remain legible / visible / understandable).
The social networks
To manage the links from your site to your social networks, go to the left-hand menu of the dashboard, then click on 'Ariane' at the bottom.
This will take you directly to a page with several settings, including 'Contact & socials'. If your site is available in several languages, you will have as many tabs as languages (see example below for a trilingual site).
Select an icon in the drop-down, paste the address of your page, and add/remove as many connections as you like.
Don't forget to save before leaving the page!
