FAQ
The block to create a knowledge base and cover most of your users' questions. A search box allows people to drill down to questions that may not be directly displayed.
Similar to the article list, you can quickly provide context and additional targeted information to your users on any page with blocks.
The block is composed as follows:
- a Title field
- a Description field, to possibly place a context
- an FAQ selector (written in the dedicated CPT) to define the display of questions/answers automatically or manually
- automatic: the block will only display the questions/answers of the categories or tags you have selected
- manual: you select one by one the questions/answers you wish to display from the list of existing ones
- you can refine the selection by choosing questions/answers with tags A, and/or B, and/or C, etc.
- a button to allow you to display, if you wish and there are more FAQs than those displayed, an archive button will indicate "see all FAQs" and will link to a complete listing of FAQs.
The display can be in alphabetical or date order, ascending or descending. You can choose the number of questions/answers displayed. The positioning of the FAQs on the page is done according to the design.
Map
This block displays one or more points on an interactive map. When clicking on a point, a map displays information about the element.
The functionality allows the encoding of an address which will be geolocated by a call on an external service (OpenStreetMap, Google Map, etc.).
If you have a lot of addresses in a small area, it is also possible to have a "cluster of points" display (= the more you zoom in, the more information you have on each point).
Example:
The block is composed as follows:
- a Title field
- a Description field, to possibly place a context
- a block for entering the coordinates of a place, containing :
- title (when clicking on the map pin*, a panel displays the title, description and image of the point)
- description
- image
- link to a page
- latitude and longitude** (essential to place the point!)
You may add as many pins as you want.
Testimonials
As the name suggests, this block gives a voice to real people on your site! You can display the opinions and/or feedback of customers, employees or partners according to what is most relevant on a given page.
The block is composed as follows:
- a Title field
- a Description field, to possibly place a context
- a testimonial selector (written in the dedicated CPT) to define their display automatically or manually
- automatic: the block will only display testimonials from the categories or tags you have selected
- manual: you select one by one the stories you want to display
- you can refine the selection by choosing testimonies whose tags are A, and/or B, and/or C, etc.
The display is done in alphabetical or date order, ascending or descending. You can choose the number of stories displayed (they will be positioned on the page according to the design).
The block can display the following information from what is encoded in the CPT:
- text
- photo of the person
- name
- job title
Teams
This block allows you to present the different people who make up your organisation's teams.
The block is composed as follows:
- a Title field
- a Description field, to possibly place a context
- a people selector (created in the dedicated CPT) to define their display automatically or manually
- automatic: the block will only display people from the categories or tags you have selected
- manual: you select one by one the people you want to display
The display is done in alphabetical or date order, ascending or descending. You can choose the number of people displayed. Their positioning on the page will be done according to what is foreseen in the designs.
For each person will be presented with, depending on what is decided in the designs, a photo, a name, a short description, a contact or his social networks for example. The category logic allows to display a specific group of people (board of directors, administrative team, etc.)
The block can display the following information from what is encoded in the CPT:
- title
- description
- link to the event in detail
- date
- photo
- …
Partners
This block allows you to display and present your partners, in a very simple way (a list of logos) or more developed (title, logo, description, link to a detail page on your site or to their official website).
The block is composed as follows:
- a Title field
- a Description field, to possibly place a context
- a partner selector (created in the dedicated CPT) to define their display automatically or manually
- automatic: the block will only display the partners of the categories or tags you have selected
- manual: you select one by one the partners you want to display
- you can refine the selection by choosing the testimonies whose tags are A, and/or B, and/or C, etc.
The display is done in alphabetical or date order, ascending or descending. You can choose the number of partners displayed. Their positioning on the page will be according to the design.
The block can display the following information from what is encoded in the CPT:
- name
- logo / image
- type of Partner
- link to the website
Events
If you organise events on a recurring basis, this block allows you to manage your catalogue and their display.
The block is composed as follows:
- a Title field
- a Description field, to possibly place a context
- a selector of events to display, either automatically or manually
- automatic: the block will only display events from the categories or tags you have selected
- manual: you select the events you wish to display one by one
The display is done in alphabetical or date order, ascending or descending. You can choose the number of events displayed. Their positioning on the page will be done according to the design.
On the page where it is placed, the block can display for each event :
- title
- image
- start and end date
- short description
- location of the event
- …
The display of events in the block can be done in a listing (events presented in columns).
Step by Step
This block allows you to create or relate a chronology of events linked in time.
The block is composed as follows:
- a Title field
- a Description field, to possibly place a context
- You can then add as many steps as you need. Each step has :
- a title
- a description
- the steps are numbered in the order in which they appear on the frieze (number at the top left of the block)
- you can correct or modify the order of the steps by using the arrows at the top right of the block to move the step up or down one step
- to add an extra step, click on the "+" under the block
Products
This block allows the display of a catalogue of products to be marketed. It is only used in the context of an e-commerce site and is linked to the installation of the 'Woocommerce' extension.
It is possible to link to an external database to manage stock levels for example.
The block is composed as follows:
- a Title field
- a Description field, to possibly place a context
- a product selector (created in the dedicated CPT) to define their display automatically or manually
- automatic: the block will only display products from the categories or tags you have selected
- manual: you select the products you want to display one by one
- you can refine the selection by choosing products with tags A, and/or B, and/or C, etc.
The display can be in alphabetical or date order, ascending or descending. You can choose the number of products displayed. Their positioning on the page will be according to the design.
Facts & Figures
This content module allows you to present key figures with a few words. These are high-impact, valuable data, visually highlighted to avoid writing long paragraphs.
The block is composed as follows:
- a Title field
- a Description field, to possibly place a context
- you can then add as many "facts" as you need. Each one has :
- a number field
- a fact field
- a description
- if necessary, the possibility of adding a link to another page, to give more details about the figure
- the Facts & Figures are numbered in the order in which they appear (number at the top left of the block)
- you can correct or change the order in which they are displayed via the arrows at the top right of the block
- to add an additional piece of data, click on the "+" below the block
The display of these Facts & Figures will depend on what has been defined in the designs of your website.
